We found a NASHVILLE Warbler this morning at Barnes on the TAS walk. The Nashville was inside the small hammock adjacent to the picnic area. Although it did bob its tail, it did so infrequently, so it is likely an eastern bird.

We found a total of 10 warbler species, including Blackburnian (female), Worm-eating, and Black-throated Blue. Both Scarlet and Summer Tanagers were present along the nature trail. Other highlights included Cooper's Hawk, Peregrine Falcon, Merlin, Eastern Kingbird, Yellow-throated Vireo, Chuck-will's-widow and Ruby-throated Hummingbird. The walk both began and ended with Spot-breasted Orioles.
