Does anyone have evidence of iguana predation on birds or bird nests? Florida Field Naturalist had an article a couple of years ago about the reverse (Burrowing Owls eating Iguanas), but as far as I knew, iguanas were/are strictly vegetarian? I'm not defending their presence, and I wish they weren't here for all the other problems they cause, but I didn't think they were actually predators of birds. Competitors, perhaps?
