I made a quick run down there at sunset to see if I could find something for my Bird A Day list. I was a beautiful view with awesome pinks and purple color in the sky.

I found a Common Loon to the south probably very near the Canoe Launch that is Closed till April or May for renovations. I also found the 4 neighborhood Red-breasted Mergansers about a 1/4 mile out and 5 Northern Shoveler were due east at a little less than 1/4 mile out.

Streams of Ibis were heading north to their roost along with DC Cormorant and a few Little Blue.

So Loon it is for my Bird A Day List....
