Lesser Nighthawk on Mt. Schinus, Everglades National Park

This afternoon, I flushed an adult male Lesser Nighthawk while atop Mt. Schinus (Gate 15) in Everglades National Park. In flight, I was able to observe the rounded wings, white wing bars and buffy underwings. Once it landed, in the open on gravel, I was able to obtain scope views from about 15 feet! Unfortunately, I only had my iPhone camera with me.
