Bait balls have been moving in closer the past 2 days and I've seen jaeger sp. just far enough out of range to prevent ID to species. However, this afternoon a large bait ball close in attracted many gulls, terns, diving gannets and 2 jaegers. One jaeger seemed to be a light-morph Parasitic. The brown band and moderate white wing flash on top of the wing were easy to see. It's behavior was Parasitic-like; very agile maneuvering and constant harassment of the gulls and terns. The wings were about the same span as the Laughing Gulls and they didn't have the wide look of Pomarine wings.
