The Flycatcher was heard around 3:45pm today by us. Looked for Short-eared Owl with no luck, many Sparrows were calling as the sun set on research road, and one Woodcock was heard at its usual spot. One Swainson's Hawk flew over us at Lucky Hammock, we also saw two Scissor-tailed Flycatchers on the power lines. Limpkins could be heard crying near the Annex as the night rolled in. It as a pleasant evening to bird however the bugs were out in force.
