A female Canvasback was seen with a group of RIng-necked Ducks in the created wetlands behind the Target store in Davie. The Target is found on the northeast corner of Stirling Road and University Dr. The bird was located during the CBC on 12/20/09. It was a write-in bird for the Broward County count, so needless to say it has been long time since one has showed up for the count day or any day in a long memory. I hope it is still there for those needing it for this year or hoping it will stick around for a 2010 bird.
