Been photographing the shorebirds at a lesser-known beach in Juno for the past three days and have had 2 Brown Boobie sightings. Both were a good distance off shore.. maybe ~50 or 60 yards?
In addition, there were:
20+ Black-bellied Plovers
30+ Sanderlings
2 Willets
6 N. Gannets
1 Western Sandpiper
40+ Br. Pelicans (fly-by)
+ large flocks of Ring-billed and Laughing gulls as well Sandwich and Royal terns.
