As always, Trey's photos are fabulous! The Piping Plover is banded and since it carries an orange band above the "joint," it seems to be from the Great Lakes population, an endangered group of birds.
The Brown Booby was ~50 yards offshore so I digiscoped the image as it slowly drifted farther out. It seems to be an immature bird and another young bird was flying farther out. We assume they are the same birds that Toe, Trey and Alex had earlier.
