A shallow-draft motorized boat is needed to cover the Snake Bight Channel area in Florida Bay for the Coot Bay/Everglades National Park Christmas Bird Count on Saturday, January 2. Larry Manfredi and John Boyd, who have both covered this area in the past, would be assigned to your vessel. If you would like to donate your services for this worthy cause, please email me at your earliest convenience, at brianrapoza@aol.com.
Also, anyone interested in assisting a land-based team for this CBC should email me as soon as possible.
