A Short-tailed Hawk (dark phase) was seen soaring over Stirling Road near Park Road (St. Maurice Church) on Sunday afternoon 12/13 at 2:30 p.m. I have seen Short-tailed Hawks in the past at Sheridan St. and US 1 and at West Lake Park. Who knows where they roost? It be nice to know if they were a Hollywood local.
