We ended our birding day today at Evergreen Cemetery. We walked the whole lot and saw

F. Ruby throated Hummingbird
Eastern Pheobe
Blue Gray Gnatcatcher(by the dozen)
Downy Woodpecker
Great Egret
Flock of White Ibis (juvenile)
Ruby Crowned Kinglet
we also were able to see a Coopers Hawk fly around a crypt and try to take out one of the aforementioned White ibis. When he saw us he pulled up short and literally lost his lunch.

The most important find for us though was the Spot Breasted Oriole. We saw three of them at the top of the gumbo limbo tree in the northwest corner. We stayed long enough to get photos.

We were on the STA 5 tour on Sat and I was able to snap a pict of the Great Cormorant. I am excited that this is a rare event and I was able to see it firsthand.

We also visited STA 3/4 today we saw all of the same things that were seen at STA-5 on Saturday but we saw 5 or 6 Purple Swamphens.
