Angel and Mariel are good natured and I'm sure they aren't bothered by the suggestion. We all do quite a bit of joking around on the bird board and in emails. So I don't think this was done to be overly critical.
I stopped at Cutler Wetland yesterday morning and found 200+ Wood Storks added to the recent collection of waders and ducks. The Avocet, White Pelican and the Bald Eagle all were seen as well.
I had a Dark Morph Short-tailed hawk flying with a kettle of vultures two days in a row at Cutler Wetland also. I didn't see the Ruddy Ducks, but I saw a couple of Shovelers which I haven't been seeing the last few trips searching.
