Yesterday we did a nice count at Green Cay with 51 species in less than two hours. Highlights include: Orange-crowned Warbler, Yellow-throated Warbler, Redstart, Common Yellow-throat, Palm, Pine, and Prairie. Also seen were Green-winged Teal, Sora, Merlin, Blue-headed Vireo, and 2 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds. Sandy Komito reported a Rufous Hummingbird over the weekend but was not seen again. I will keep an eye out for it and report if it shows back up.
