A Swainson's Hawk was soaring with a pod of vultures over Castellow Hammock when I arrived at 0800 this morning. A few warblers were in the parking lot oaks, but just the usual culprits...black-and-white, parula, prairie, Tennessee, palm. Hummingbirds are so thick you have to swat your way through them!
(ps...the male rufous hummingbird in my yard seems to have fled the scene)
