: David,

: Could you identify what species the floating toilet you saw was? Kohler, American Standard.......... it was probably a Crane, which wouldn't have been a life toilet for me. Were goldfish swimming nearby? Raul may join me in the Mourning in search of the *&^*%ing Grassquit. If we see it, please put some "Dead Guy's Ale" (Rogue Brewery-Oregon) on ice.Life is good....... for those of us who toil "Where a flush beats a full house."

: P.S. I saw a Mourning Warbler in the 1980's near the Boy Scout Camp at Cape Florida with Kevin Sarsfield, Juan Villamil, David Lysinger, P. William Smith, et al. I know of nary a South Florida record since then. Great bird!

I saw a Mourning Warbler at Spanish River Park in Boca Raton on May 1, 1995. On the same day believe it or not; as I was walking to a pay phone to tell local birders I heard and saw a La Sagra's Flycatcher. After I made my phone call I went back to re-find the Mourning Warbler which was in the same place. Howard L. came walking past where the warbler was and sat down on a bench only to find a Bahama Mockingbird!! Those were the only three birds that I saw in a very slow day of birding!!
