I was there today from about noon--3 PM; a beautiful day and a lot of birds. Highlights included:

roseate spoonbill 20-25
wood stork 5
peregrine falcon
kestrel 4-5
osprey 5-6
dowitcher 150-200 many vocalizing while feeding were long-billed; silent ones ??
yellowlegs 150-200 almost all lesser; one definite greater, probably others
stilt sandpiper 2-3
pectoral sandpiper 2-3 with the stilts, in a little bunch away from other birds; at least they looked like pectorals; is this very unlikely this time of year?
sandpiper ~10 probably least, although the legs looked kind of dark
caspian tern ~10 1-2 in the air, most roosting on a bit of mud
belted kingfishers 3
scissor-tailed flycatcher 1 beautiful adult on a wire just before the parking lot
northern rough-winged swallow 50-60 identifiable (to me, finally) when perched
palm warblers everywhere
black-throated blue warbler 1 male, very lost, in thin, short brush by a canal
