Went to Indian Hammocks (actually the Cemetery)this morning and had a couple of nice surprises. Started off with a Short-Tailed Hawk (light) soaring closely and landing in trees and which was eventually attacked by a Kestrel. Afterwards the same Short-tailed Hawk attacked a Red-Shouldered Hawk which landed nearby while a Loggerhead Shrike attacked the Kestrel. Hope I didn't confuse everyone here! The shrike then caught a lizard and proceeded to eat it.

Also had my first Florida Ruby-Crowned Kinglet. Very happy to finally see it. In addition saw:

Black and White Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Parula Warbler
Yellow-Rumped Warbler
Palm Warbler
Catbird
RT Hummingbird
E. Phoebe
Gnatcatchers (many)
Blue-Headed Vireo

Finally, had a single Chipping Sparrow at the extreme NE part of the cemetery (extreme NW of Indian Hammocks). It is the only sparrow I have seen at this park (saw a group of about 5 in this park many years ago). Come to think about, I haven't seen a House Sparrow either at this park.
