Yesterday we birded Morningside Park for about an hour. We started off by birding the Sea Grapes near the boat ramp where we had a Catbird, Palm, Parula, Yellow-throated, B & W Warbler and a Downy Woodpecker. Off to sit and watch the sea for 40 minutes; nothing spectacular but we did have a flyby Jaeger spp. and a Herring Gull. Lots of Laughing and a few Ring-billed Gulls, Cormorants, Osprey, Egrets and Herons as well.
Next stop was the Pelican Harbor Marina where had a Franklin's Gull mixed in with Laughing Gulls. It was nice to see the birds next to each other making the ID easy.
Nature is Awesome
