The grayish face and overall gray coloration and lack of much rust coloration, along with the salt/brackish-marsh habitat, heavily lean towards Clapper Rail, but for me the clincher is the gray feather edgings on the back. On the King Rail they are rust-colored and the center of the back feathers are much darker. Life is good.........
