A brief watch at Crandon failed to produce any of those elusive scoters I keep looking for. But, I did see a bird I wasn't expecting: a Whimbrel. Only the 3rd one I've seen in Dade. Plenty of Black-bellied Plovers and the usual shorebirds. Lots of Gannets flying south, with some coming pretty close to shore. No Jaegers despite the very strong winds.
