The Black-faced Grassquit appeared shortly after 7 this morning near the residence. It then moved up the road toward the hammock. It sang and perhaps gathered nesting material. This was my 5th attempt to see the bird!

A Wilson's Warbler was briefly seen in the same field of view.

Other birds of note this morning included the hordes of Eastern Kingbirds, 1 each Baltimore Orioles at Royal Palm and Lucky Hammock and a light morph Short-tailed Hawk near Lucky Hammock.
