For the past two weeks, between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. there have been between three to five Swallow-tailed Kites circling overhead. The location is in Broward County, at the corner of Sterling and 148th Avenue, just east of I-75. They are best viewed from behind the Town of Davie Firestation at the intersection. There is a field behind the firestation. The kites will be to the south of Sterling and east and west of S.W. 148th Avenue. There were five together on Monday, June 18th. I would suggest getting off east at I-75 on Sheriden. S.W. 148 Ave is the first light, and then go north to Sterling.
