Well after giving up on finding a Bay-breasted one found us. We were taking a stroll after lunch and decided to chill in the shade of a nice large oak tree when we started to hear lots of Warbler calls. We looked and the first bird that came into view was a female Bay-breasted Warbler, awesome! We also had some other Warblers in the tree along with the BBWA.
Here is the list:
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Northern Parula
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Palm Warbler
Bay-breasted Warbler!!!
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Turkey Vulture
Green Heron
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Not bad for a fifteen minute break.
Nature is Awesome
