Yellow-bellied Flycatcher - Yes!

The Yellow-bellied Flycatcher can still be seen at Matheson Hammock. I observed it for about 30 minutes today, just after noon, following verbal prompting from Larry "The Man" Manfredi. It was extremely cooperative (or "confiding," as the British say), flitting back and forth among the lower limbs on several live oaks. it sat most often on an open horizontal branch just north of the north-most roofed picnic shelter, immediately above a 3-ft-high wooden post in the ground with a water pipe attached to it.

My libation of choice to celebrate this lifer was (since I'm working) hours-old cold coffee with this funny oil slick on top. I'll reach for the 12-year-old Scotch tonight.
