Nice photos of the YBFL! However, the moth this flycatcher was eating intrigued me even more than the bird! Lol. I knew I have seen this moth in the past but I was a little "rusty" since I no longer have my reference collection with which to compare. I donated the collection to the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity at the University of Florida a few years ago. From your excellent photos, I was sure a positive ID could be made. I exhausted all of my guesses, however, so it was time to call in the reinforcements. Consequently, I consulted with noted lepidopterist Dr. James Adams of Dalton State College in Dalton, Georgia. He graciously gave his imprimatur for this moth as being the Prominent Moth Heterocampa astarte -- Family Notodontidae. It is Hodges (MONA i.e. Moths of America North Of Mexico) #7977.
