Twelve (12) birders joined me on the Tropical Audubon Society Field Trip to Bill Baggs State Park at Cape Florida on Sunday, October 4, 2009. Thity-four (34) species were seen including ten (10) warbler species. The following birds were seen. They include birds seen on Key Biscayne while driving to and from the Cape. I Left early due to an exhausting weekend dance card - class reunion Friday night, 18 holes of golf Saturday morning with Summer Tanagers everywhere, lunch with son, Nicholas, daughter, Christine and grandson, Sebastian, and finally tailgating, starting at 4:30 p.m. before witnessing a great Hurricane win over the Oklahoma Sooners including witnessing a Chuck-Wills Widow catching a moth right in front of us. The Sonners are great football fans. Brian Rapoza, et al., can report on birds seen after I departed for a power-nap.
