Parrot Roost North Miami (Biscayne Gardens)

They're back! Approximately 100+ white-eyed and mitered parakeets (perhaps some Red-masked as well) roost in the royal palms directly behind 14101 S. Biscayne River Drive (looking east). Pre-roosting takes place along the wires in the same neighborhood as well as an Australian Pine hanging over the street just north of the address above (on the west side of the street). This has been occurring at approx. 5:30 - 5:45 pm. Coming from the south, exit 95 at 135 Street going east; turn left on North Miami Avenue, then right on NE 143 Street, that dead-ends into S. Biscayne River Drive, turn right, listen and look near the address given above and even further south along S. Biscayne River Drive. Any questions, feel free to contact me.
