I birded Kendall Indian Hammock Park this afternoon; while it wasn t as birdy as A D Barnes was this morning, there was still a nice selection of birds to see, including:
Cooper s Hawk
Eastern Wood-Pewee
Acadian Flycatcher (SE corner of park)
Red-eyed Vireo
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Swainson s Thrush
Gray Catbird
Brown Thrasher
Blue-winged Warbler (in the hammock)
Tennessee Warbler
Northern Parula
Magnolia Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Palm Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Ovenbird
Common Yellowthroat
Hooded Warbler (a stunning male, SE corner of park)
Summer Tanager
Scarlet Tanager
