A small group was releasing Atala Hairstreak into the Garden when they were pleased to see a bobcat saunter past. The animal has been present for a week now. The resident cottontail rabbit has moved to the school site (more space to run) while the bobcat is back in the wilderness area.

Black and white warblers are about as are BG gnatcatchers. Solitary warbler also and some prairie warblers and several palm warblerss. Cooper's Hawk is present and two osprey are seen in the morning.

On a tour today a black racer was seen languishing in the sun on one of the trails and two raccoons came out to see what the commotion was all about.

Suday is Blessing of the animals in honor of St. Francis. If you have a critter pet bring it on at 1:00 PM, Southeast cornor of the church site. Please, no Burmese pythons.
