The dreaded East winds have come to a halt, there are S to SW winds forecasted for tonight on the east coast and what we are all waiting for WEST WINDS along the west coast and the panhandle. The front seems to have peeled off to the north and has allowed birds that have been stacked up behind the front to make their way south. We should see an influx of migrants tomorrow morning and some localized concentrations may be possible as a storm system is moving across the state working its way from west to east. From Merritt to North Miami Dade seems to be the best area for storms to bring down birds. Good luck out there tomorrow, birding conditions look like they could be really good. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Look busy; the birds are coming.
