I took a trip out to Torry Island today. There was little activity on the island--but I drove through CLOUDS of swallows and dragonflies on my way through Belle Glade. I'm sure there were thousands of swallows on both sides of the roadways as you passed certain fields. One flooded field near Hooker Hwy had some shorebirds. At Torry I was able to id tree swallows, barn, northern rough wing and one cliff swallow. Also saw plenty of Okeechobee Gourd!
