I saw the adult male Western Spindalis this morning at 9:30. It was on the south side of the hammock by gate 3 north of the residences building. If you walked east through gate 3 the bird was on the left inside the hammock perched and calling from the top of a very skinny pine. It was giving its long "seeeeeep" call which can be hard to hear.
