Yes, I also saw the male Masked Duck this morning at 8:00 a.m. It was calmly resting at the same spot as it was originally discovered; i.e. north fork, looking to the east, about 20 yards away, in front of the tall dark green sedge. I also spent some unrewarding afternoon hours last week, so I support the morning theory! Purple Martins were abundant today. /Henrik
