I covered Lucky Hammock and the Annex, C111E Canal (got drenched on the walk back), and along the road (SR 9336) from the Canal up to the entrance of Everglades National Park. Although it wasn t particularly birdy, here are some highlights of the 44 species and 905 individuals (large number of Cattle Egrets and Mourning Doves) seen:
