Very early this morning (pre-dawn), I was driving north on SW 162 Ave., between SW 280 St. and SW 264 St. I saw something in the street, slowed down, stopped and it was a barn owl with something it its talons in the middle of my lane. What a beautiful owl .... in headlights! It flew, with its prey, to the side of the road. Less than a mile further, I saw a screech owl in the south bound lane.
