This morning at Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park I observed a banded black-whiskered vireo. Searching the internet to perhaps find information on where they are being banded, I came across Heidi's post from July. The bird I saw also had a pink band above another band on its right leg.
No one answered Heidi's question, so I thought I would bring it up again. Anyone know who is banding them or where they are being banded?
Thanks!

This morning my husband and I spotted a banded Black-whiskered Vireo at Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park (can we just call it DJKLHBSP?) and it had a green band and a pink band on its right leg, with a service band on its left leg.
Anyone know who is banding these guys, or where they're being banded, or how I can find out?
Many thanks!
