This morning I woke up a little late and wasn't able to go on the TAS walk. So I decided to go on my own to Matheson Hammock. At Matheson Hammock there was very little to be seen except for a loner Black-throated Blue Warbler. The service road had a lot more activity. The surprise for me today was a group of Orioles consisting of Baltimore and Orchard Orioles. A total of 8 species of warblers were seen. The totals are:

Osprey: 5
Eastern Kingbirds: couple flocks passing overhead
Red-eyed Vireo: 6
Barn Swallows: couple flying overhead
Northern Parula: 2
Black-throated Blue Warbler: 1
Prairie Warbler: 2
Worm-eating Warbler: 6
Black-and-white Warbler: 2
American Redstart: 2
Ovenbird: 4
Northern Waterthrush: 4
Baltimore Oriole: 3
Orchard Oriole: 1
