I wonder if it was the same Chuck-will's-widow Gary and I saw on Saturday. It also was just off the trail about eye-level. I guess it liked us better because it stayed put while we watched it and then we went on our way. We also had 7 warbler species but no Kentucky! Also an Eastern Wood Pewee before you get down to the end of the road.
