I checked out both of these areas today in search of fall migrants. C-111e was slow with sightings of Black-and-white Warbler, Worm-eating Warbler and Red-eyed Vireo.
The Annex was more active. I was surprised by the numbers of Alder Flycatchers in the area. Many were calling and even a couple were still singing. There was 10+ in my estimation. There was also 30 or so Eastern Kingbird and a single Gray Kingbird. Warblers included Yellow Warbler, both Waterthrush species, American Redstart, Prairie Warbler, and Ovenbird.
