Like clockwork, a Kentucky Warbler has returned to the Matheson Hammock service road. Continue down the service road to the area where the road drops in elevation and the hammock opens up. There is a tree that forms a bridge over the path. On the right side of the path there is a large tree trunk that forms an arch (like the one is St. Louis, only smaller). The Kentucky was a few yards behind this. It did its "chuck" call a couple of time before dropping down into the brush.

The road still had most of the same birds from the last two days, but a smaller number it seemed. By the puddle there was a Louisiana Waterthrush and a little further up a Northern.
