My first Merlin for the season was seen at Indian Hammocks Park. It was feeding on something I could not make out. A bold Mockingbird was perched boldly/defiantly about 7 ft from it. Also saw a mixed flock of Gnatcatchers, Black and White Warblers, Yellow-Throated Warblers, Parula Warblers and Prairie Warbler at the west end of the main hammock.
