A quick stop to Lucky Hammock and the Annex yeilded very little in terms of warblers (Black and White, Prairie, N. Waterthrush, Am. Redstart) and other passerines (White-eyed Vireo, Eastern Kingbirds, Barn Swallows) but did turn up several flocks of FOS BOBOLINKS over the fields, and several flocks of Glossy Ibis in "V" formation on the horizon. Thermal activity was high, with the vulture roost in Everglades producing some large (50+) kettles of TUVU/BLVU mixtures, but no Mississippi Kites as of yet...I'm still looking though! A Northern Harrier was harrassing the peeps (leasts) in the fields west of Lucky Hammock.
Cheers
