provides total ad volorem real property tax exemption for real estate that is dedicated in perpetuity for conservation purposes.
See the cite above for details. For conservationist with 40 acres or more this has interesting potential. For those of us under 40acres there is still a process for application.
Obviously not a big deal for people in downtown Miami but for those in the outbacks of Homestead, Golden Gates, Remuda Ranch, and the netherworld of eastern collier county this could be a real boon. And at the same time start a movement of removing land from commercial usage.
