This morning at 0735, whilst filling the feeders with bird seed here at Castellow Hammock, I saw (briefly) a hummingbird at the flowers of the violet-flowered form of the Brazilian pink porterweed in our hummingbird & butterfly garden. First hummer I've seen anywhere this year. I'll watch for it and see if it's a ruby-throat or a rufous. Stay tuned!!!
