The first redstart of the season appeared at my hammock feeder & birdbath. This male was in full color and flashing the tail flags. The season is now on for this location! (5:35PM)
Deep and frequent bathing was the order of the day. This bird was soaked. It helps to put ice cubes in the bird bath. I'm sure he loved the chill water.
Location: north Broward near Wiles Road.
Come on buntings.
And now there is a female cardinal feeding a juvenile male cardinal. Now I find that for this location a tad bit late. (5:56PM)
