Question about Painted Buntings

I know many of you have regular Buntings over the winter, and seeing a surpring post about a PB in Broward ALREADY - I guess it's time to ask - when should I expect the PB to be back? Last year I accidentally found out that there were many of them in my neighborhood, after hanging up a feeder. The rats are a problem, so I don't want to hang the seed out way too early! Thanks.
