I know this is off topic a bit, but it may be of interest to some.
There is a new birding show on TV that goes to birding hotspots for up close and personal time with various specialties...and it's locally produced. The name is Birding Adventures TV, starring James Currie, who lives in West Palm Beach. Previous shows have featured Florida, California, Cape May, and Panama. Upcoming will be Texas, more Florida, Alaska and international sites.
It's on the Fox Sports channel (39 where I live), at 7:30 on Saturday mornings. Just the thing when the shorebirding is slow.
