Short-tailed Hawk at Matheson, 8/6

I wouldn't normally post a sighting of a Short-tailed Hawk, but in looking at old posts I found one by Bill on 8/6/05 of a ST Hawk that mentioned the earliness of the sighting. Coincindently, the light morph I sas yesterday (8/6) falls on the same day. However, I did have an extremely early dark morph last month where I-95 ends onto US-1. Other than the hawk and 4 Red-eyed Vireos, I found nothing else at both the east and west side of Matheson. Patience, migration will get going......
one of these years.
