A beautiful male Painted Bunting hanging around the NE corner of Lucky Hammock yesterday, along with a smattering of AM. Redstarts, Ovenbirds, Red-eyed Vireos, Prairies, and Parulas. Fun Fun Fun- Migration's on the RUN!

Also- The restoration area in Everglades National Park (Hole In The Doughnut) at the end of research road has some shorebirds in it- mostly Greater Yellowlegs and Killdeer, but there was a flock of peeps cruising around when I came into work this morning- more attention could most likely yeild something really cool!
